The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is the Government of Canada's health research investment agency. CIHR takes a solutions-based and multidisciplinary approach to the health challenges facing Canadians.  This approach encompasses research in four areas: biomedical, clinical, health systems and services, and population and public health. This session will provide an introduction to CIHR, highlight CIHR funding opportunities that are available for social sciences and humanities researchers, and discuss the Reforms of CIHR’s Open Programs and peer review.

Presented by Alysha Croker, Project Lead, Reforms Implementation.
